A. PepSeq demonstrates in practical terms the steps involved in determining the amino acid sequence of a protein. These steps include:
- Determination of amino acid composition of the peptide
- Identification of N-terminal and C-terminal residues
- Cleavage of the peptide into smaller fragments
- Repeating steps 1-2 for each smaller fragment
